About the role: 

This is a maternity cover contract as a player-manager, working on hiring the best engineering talent across APAC (primary focus on Malaysia & Australia) while also managing a team of 4 engineering recruiters based in the region. This role will be based out of Melbourne, with the expectation that you work from our office 2 days a week.

Your contribution will be: 

Candidate Experience: We’re looking to secure the best talent for Nintex so regardless of hire outcome, we would like every candidate who interacts with us to leave with a positive experience. The minimum level is fast, transparent communication, but equally, we need to be mindful of our interview process to ensure they are delivered in a fair & credible manner, free of bias so they all get the great experience they deserve.   

Strategic Sourcing & Nurturing Campaigns; This is a hands-on, headhunting & sourcing role but you won’t just be living and breathing Linkedin Recruiter, we also want to think outside the box on how we can nurture great passive talent: Meet-ups, webinars, leadership coffee calls, partnering with employer branding - we want to reinvent the wheel. Funnels & pipelines aren't just for salespeople!  

Trusted Advisor to Hiring Managers: Be the Talent Subject Matter Expert who can advise hiring managers on everything from interview selection frameworks to market intelligence. Remember, data is the new gold.  

People Manager : You will manage a high-performing recruitment team with strong expertise in their market but an appetite to continue to develop.

To be successful, we think you need: 

We are very open, as recruiters we often look for potential, however we think you would be a great fit if...  

  • 8+ years recruitment experience, coming from a combination of agency & in-house, with expertise in product & engineering recruitment. 
  • 2+ years people management experience 
  • Experience working in a product or SaaS driven environment.   
  • Enjoy keeping up to date with recruitment trends, including webinars, industry podcasts, events and all other things recruitment so we’re at the cutting edge of the market.  
  • Data-first approach to recruitment and an ability to present data.
  • Passionate about candidate journey & diversity in recruitment
