Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager for a client in Greenville. The ideal candidate will be passionate about accounting and eager to contribute to the team's success. The Accounting Manager will be working closely with their regional Controllership teams and outsourced accounting partners.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Review and enhance monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Implement and enforce manual journal entry policies, ensuring thorough documentation.
Lead the General Ledger (GL) team, documenting and implementing business process improvements.
Analyze balance sheet movements and provide detailed commentary.
Assist with the preparation of financials, PBC schedules for audits, and monthly/quarterly bank reporting packages.
Clarify roles and responsibilities within the finance team to leverage team strengths.
Develop and implement training programs, ensuring thorough desk procedures.
Communicate policies and procedures across the organization as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA preferred).
7+ years of accounting/finance experience, with management experience required.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
Industry and public accounting experience is preferred.
Ability to research technical accounting matters and provide GAAP-compliant solutions.
Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
