Float Requirements: yes – IMC RN’s may float to another IMC level of care unit within MMC. IMC RN’s will float to med/surg as needed. Med/surg RN’s may float to another med/surg unit with similar level of care. Floating is based on unit need and skill as well as the needs of nursing units. Unit Specific Information
Number of Beds: 43 Patient Ratios: Day Shift Med/Surg 1:4-5, Night Shift Med/surg 1:5-6, Day and Night IMC 3:1 Equipment: Specific to our IMC patients: Ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP. Both IMC and Med Tele equipment: CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non – Rebreather, Epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, Trach care/maintenance. Additional Details
