We are seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our data platform releases in 2025 and 2026, as we continue to support the cutting-edge needs of HPC and AI applications.

Position Overview:

As a QA Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our engineering team, driving the QA and test strategy for our VDURA Data Platform. You will ensure robust quality processes are in place and implemented effectively to deliver world-class software releases. You will lead testing efforts, champion automation, and work cross-functionally to identify and mitigate risks early in the development cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Drive QA Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive QA and test strategy for VDURA Data Platform releases. Align quality processes with business goals to meet release milestones for 2025 and 2026. Lead Testing Efforts: Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, performance, and scalability testing. Coordinate end-to-end testing, including unit, integration, regression, and acceptance testing. Champion Automation: Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure efficient testing coverage. Drive continuous improvements in test automation practices and tools. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure early detection and resolution of defects. Advocate for quality throughout the SDLC, participating in design and code reviews. Monitor and Report Quality Metrics: Define KPIs for product quality and monitor trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Report test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness to stakeholders. Mentor and Guide: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and accountability. Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of QA experience in software development, with a focus on data platforms or enterprise software. Proven ability to define and implement QA strategies in complex development environments. Strong hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG). Proficient in test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, Xray, TestRail). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into DevOps workflows. Expertise in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with scale-out file systems, enterprise storage, and distributed systems. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications or equivalent is a plus. VDURA Culture & Values

Salary Range & Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity within the company. VDURA is committed to providing competitive and transparent compensation that complies with applicable state and local laws.
