Requirements
Education and Experience:
MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in IT management or a similar role, particularly in managing business tools and technology systems.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity principles, and various business tools.
Proficiency in system administration, with experience in Windows and/or Linux environments.
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integration with business tools.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
About the Role
The IT Systems Lead is responsible for managing and maintaining the office’s IT systems and digital infrastructure. This role involves ensuring network security, providing technical support, and optimizing workflows for productivity, with an emphasis on securing and enhancing digital tools and systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
________ Knowledge, Skills & Abilities ________
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, especially in managing business tools and IT resources.
________ Key Responsibilities ________
Oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software to maintain operational efficiency.
Implement and regularly update network security and data protection measures to ensure a secure digital environment.
Provide ongoing technical support and training to staff on IT systems and software applications, ensuring effective use of technology.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to support efficient and secure operations across the organization.
Monitor system performance and optimize digital workflows to enhance productivity and user experience.
Partner with external vendors and service providers for IT-related projects, system maintenance, and support.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, recommending upgrades or enhancements that align with business goals.
Lead the development and execution of IT projects aimed at improving office efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Oversee the budget for IT hardware, software, and services to ensure optimal resource allocation.
