Summary
Under the direction of the Scheduling Supervisor, is responsible for creating the call schedule for the PPG Cardiology Physicians as well as assigning all of their daily activities such as hospital, clinic and office assignments. The Physician Scheduler also grants all physician vacation time, assigns their working holidays, and coordinates the physician meetings, lectures and administrative time. Is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence; and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior.
Education
Must be a high school graduate with some college preferred. Must have completed basic Medical Terminology.

Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in a Parkview Physicians Group office. Experience in Windows based PC skills required. Demonstrates basic knowledge and use of Internet.
Other Qualifications
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate professional telephone etiquette. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
