The Opportunity:
Oversee and manage the full life-cycle of projects from initiation to closing to include planning, schedule, budget for deployable C5ISR systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop and update project schedules in order to track progress of projects.
Develop financial baselines and labor forecasts in order to track financial health of projects.
Manage geographically dispersed team to ensure customer requirements (ie. system integration, maintenance, logistics, training) are completed on schedule
Identify, monitor, and communicate project risks and identify approaches to mitigate.
Ensure accurate and timely communication to the customer of essential information impacting the operation, maintenance, and support of projects.
Assess project issues, identify root-cause for failures, and develop corrective actions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.
Ten (10) years of direct work experience with C5ISR systems.
Eight (8) years of direct work experience, to include: Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of C5ISR systems.
Four (4) years as a manager of RF communications and/ or communications networks to include Supervising Project Personnel, Scheduling Work, Writing Proposals, and Preparing Bids and Equipment and Material Logistics Control.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
Desired:
Has or is able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Extensive experience with Navy communication systems to include VSAT.
Knowledge of Navy's Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) process and Shore Installation Process
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Access, Outlook, Word, Excel, and various Adobe applications.
