Position Summary:
The
Digital Marketing Specialist
will be an integral member of our small but mighty Performance Marketing team. We are looking for someone with strong email marketing and SEO roots to complement our in-house paid media and growth marketing expertise. Our team thrives on wearing a lot of hats, which helps keep every day unique and interesting. On the email marketing side, we’re looking for someone to help us add depth to our robust email content calendar. This candidate will help us layer in personalization throughout our promotional emails, as well as help us build more complex customer lifecycle automations and journeys. Expanding into other digital marketing areas, this candidate will run point with our digital marketing agency on our SEO efforts, optimizing our website to improve our rankings. Our team has a test-and-learn mindset, and we love to explore the relationship between paid and organic search. Comfortability in GA4, Google Search Console, etc. will be a welcomed skillset in this role to help us in our analysis. We can’t wait to welcome someone to our highly collaborative team, where wins are socialized weekly with senior leadership. This candidate will be fully supported from Day 1, while independently owning initiatives that directly impact revenue. Key Responsibilities: Play an integral role in our Email Marketing program Conceptualize and develop new lifecycle automation campaigns to our email subscribers Identify opportunities for A/B testing and personalization within our email marketing content calendar Work with internal partners (e.g. Data Analytics) to refine our data structure within our ESP platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Develop and implement our SEO strategy
Partner with our digital marketing agency to identify opportunities for technical SEO enhancements to our website Focus on keyword research, improving our website’s rankings, and generating high quality organic traffic Exhibit a test-and-learn mindset by continuously updating Page Titles, H1s, H2s, etc. Maintain local listings across the internet Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO and AI trends and their implications for our business
Analyze and optimize our website and web data
Run A/B tests to optimize landing pages and the conversion funnel on our website Identify, track, and report on web analytics and performance marketing KPIs
Understand how our paid search campaigns are performing at the local level, helping us optimize our budgets Support our in-house programmatic, display, and affiliate marketing initiatives Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: 1-3 years of digital and email marketing experience Experience working in an ESP platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a huge plus) Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Core Web Vitals Comfortability with SEO site crawl tools (e.g. Screaming Frog) and SEO content optimization tools (e.g. SEO Clarity) Proficient in Photoshop Excellent organizational and communication skills, as this candidate will often need to work alongside other departments to push forward projects and opportunities
