Key Responsibilities: Lead underwriting, write pre-screen memos and qualification of acquisition opportunities, including financial statement analysis, market intelligence, and presentation of findings to executive team Create financial models on potential acquisition opportunities, with an ability to underwrite various financing and capital improvement scenarios Assist with writing Letters of Intent (LOIs) and preparing valuation pitches Lead in-depth due diligence efforts and conduct competitor analysis Drive and continue improving existing scorecard for evaluating potential acquisitions Interface with potential sellers to identify qualified opportunities Liaise with Oasis leadership team to ensure operating team awareness and preparedness for closing and integration Lead development of operational destination plans on all new and existing investments Assist with ad hoc requests to support board presentations, investor communication, capital raises and budgeting Document all best practices utilized at the company and work directly with Access to leverage best practices across other portfolio companies Attend ACE training, social, and networking events Willingness to travel as needed Qualifications and Characteristics: Fast learner with a desire to move with urgency, accountability, and intent Self-starter with an ability to drive results autonomously in line with strategic objectives Comfort interacting with and leveraging third party resources to achieve goals Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner Persistent focus on innovative portfolio management, property-level operational opportunities, and net operating income maximization Ability to synthesize and convey complex business concepts effectively Strategic planner with the ability to plan and execute upon a defined task or strategy Innovative and creative thinker with the ability to derive best practices Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to drive change Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from a prominent institution (degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business-related field is a plus), MBA preferred 8+ years of experience in direct real estate investment, investment banking, commercial real estate investment sales, or other acquisitions-based experience involving real assets Experience in commercial real estate acquisition diligence and closing transactions is preferred Experience in opportunistic or value-add commercial real estate business plan execution is preferred Outstanding financial modeling experience and Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Familiarity with Salesforce CRM a plus Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
