PTO Life Insurance 401k + MatchJob DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a diligent, innovative, and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our electrical systems. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with particular expertise in working with 100 hp electric motors, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, and VFD's.Responsibilities:1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.2. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.3. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.4. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various equipment, including 100 hp electric motors, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, and VFD's.5. Read blueprints or technical diagrams before performing installation or repair tasks.6. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.7. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.8. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement electrical improvements.9. Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant safety standards and regulations.Qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry.2. Proven experience with 100 hp electric motors, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, and VFD’s.3. A valid electrician license.4. In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.5. Excellent problem-solving skills with good physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.6. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electrician.7. Strong understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints.8. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.9. Superior interpersonal and communication skills.10. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing time and resources effectively.11.
