Execution Director & Black Belt, Health Plan Operations Job Description: Wellpoint, formerly Amerigroup, is a proud member of Elevance Health’s family of brands, offering Medicaid and Medicare plans in several states. We also provide administrative services to Medicaid plans in partnership with blue cross blue shield plans. Our Government Health Benefits Grievances and Appeals, Enrollment, and Billing Organization is looking to hire an Execution Director. Reporting directly to the VP of Grievance & Appeals, this high-performing individual contributor Director will use their Six Sigma discipline to facilitate the execution of a portfolio of work dedicated to business processes, systems, and technology improvements across the entire G&A, Enrollment, and Billing divisions, all delivering new value and savings. They will ensure alignment with the business model, partner with the enterprise strategy team to implement the appropriate business enhancements and facilitate information exchange and issue resolutions between the execution team, work streams, shared services partners, and regulatory/legislative affairs teams. They will also present and drive discussions around their portfolio and related outcomes to C-level leaders across the broader Government Health Benefits org. This position will work in a hybrid way from any US Elevance Health Corporate work location. How you will make an impact: Monitors projects, ensuring the program meets milestones, deliverables, budget and objectives. Provides expert knowledge of roadmaps and strategic view of enterprise dependency, program solution delivery. Influences and provides leadership on external advocacy efforts. Collaborates to utilize lean capabilities for projects, tools and methodologies and ensures timely execution of projects. Provides strategic direction and continually refines consolidated roadmap of initiatives (enterprise dependency, program solution delivery). Manages requirements, strategic projects, reports, analysis, and deadlines, and coaches on implementation requirements. Creates internal and external communication strategy, including responses to inquiries, requests for information from external parties, and segmentation of stakeholders’ websites. Works across matrix teams to ensure changes are properly communicated and executed. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred skills and experiences: Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certified. 8+ years experience with process improvement work, program management/execution, and strategic planning. Experience as a management consultant. Domain expertise with health plan operations and back office, Medicare, Medicaid, Grievances & Appeals (G&A), Enrollment, and Billing. Demonstrated experience with designing and delivering C-level communications across a large matrix enterprise. Job Level:
