We are looking for a CNC Machinist with production machining experience. Someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, self-motivated, attentive to detail, and takes pride in doing a good job. Lots of room for advancement at this great company Responsibilities and Duties: Liaise with all leaders to ensure safety, quality and production targets are met. Interpret engineering drawings, procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements. Preventative Maintenance of machines. Communicate with staff, supervisors, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues. Liaise with management to identify areas of inefficiency. Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with all provincial and federal laws, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations. Verify dimensions of machined parts or tooling using micrometers, Vernier’s, calipers, height gauges or other specialized measuring instruments. Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Ability to multitask. Demonstrates excellence in CNC Milling, turning, VBM and Horizontal Milling. Knowledge of conventional milling and turning considered an asset. Other duties as assigned by Manager. Requirements: Prior experience with Fanuc, Haas, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki Minimum 5 years CNC Machining a MUST Lifting Requirements: Up to 50 pounds. Mathematical: Advanced Math, including geometry and trigonometry. English language, both Oral and Written. Education & Skills: Graduate from a technical school or equivalent (i.e., NTMA Certified, etc.) Understanding of Metrology Can select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers, using commercially available tooling and products whenever possible. Follows all established safety procedures and practices. Experience with CNC programming is a huge plus. Working Conditions: Hours of operation: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Overtime as required
