Role Description This is a full-time onsite role for an Order To Cash Analyst (Proposal and Pricing) independent contractor role at Houston, Texas. This position involves bid preparation, pricing strategies, and job analysis to support customer evaluations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to create competitive proposals, refine pricing models, and ensure compliance with client requirements Responsibilities Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and bid documents to ensure full compliance with client requirements. Develop comprehensive proposals, including both technical and financial components, that effectively showcase the company’s value proposition. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), technical teams, and sales representatives to gather and refine proposal content. Draft compelling executive summaries and narratives tailored to client needs. Design and implement cost models and pricing strategies aligned with project scope and client expectations. Conduct competitive analysis and research industry benchmarks to ensure pricing competitiveness. Ensure cost estimates are accurate and align with resource availability and timelines. Coordinate with senior management to review and refine proposals for accuracy, consistency, and competitiveness. Maintain open communication with internal stakeholders to address changes in client or project requirements promptly. Ensure timely submission of proposals to meet client deadlines. Qualifications Proficiency in cost modeling tools and software; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with proposal management tools like RFPIO or similar platforms is a plus. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and visualization. Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to interpret complex data for actionable insights. High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in proposals. Experience in managing multiple proposals simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. Ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs or client requests. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, or related roles.
