Based in Los Angeles, this is a unique opportunity for a mid-level to senior associate to engage in sophisticated and complex transactions in the real estate, real estate M&A, and private equity sectors. Their team represents a diverse range of global clients, from developers to REITs, helping them navigate intricate industry challenges and opportunities. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a broad range of high-value real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, syndicated loan financings, and joint ventures. Advise clients on private equity investments, sales/leasebacks, leasing, recapitalisations, restructurings, and fund formation. Collaborate on development projects such as office buildings, hotels, resorts, and shopping centres. Work with a multidisciplinary team on public and private offerings, securitised lending transactions, and real estate litigation. Provide strategic counsel on real estate workouts and restructurings, including bankruptcy matters. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a top-tier law school. Admission to the California Bar. Experience in real estate, M&A, or private equity transactions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster client and team relationships.
