To maintain and manage current clients for Hexagon's Mining division portfolio within the mining industry in the defined territory.
Act as the central point of contact for Hexagon with defined client - Voice of Client internally and the Face of Hexagon externally Continually fostering the relationship and working directly with clients to help them succeed and receive the intended value in the solutions To achieve client satisfaction targets set on an annual and quarterly basis To develop and implement a client strategy for the territory in conjunction with the Sales and Service and Support teams To maintain and build strategic relationships with existing and potential clients and industry contacts Work with other team members to collaborate on sales to ensure the client is aware of all HxGN portfolio solutions Major Areas of Responsibility:
Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing team members in the territory/region to execute the territory sales strategy and business plan Develop and implement client plans and strategies to continue growth of Hexagon's mining portfolio Pro-actively manage day to day relationship with clients to ensure HxGN is a trusted partner Responsible for direct sales (small product deals, expansions, upgrades, spare parts, annual maintenance, support contracts & service) to existing clients Responsible for the communication and coordination of client support and priorities and liaising with other departments in HxGN Provide technical advice to new and existing clients as required Point of escalation for the client on all issues Prepare client reports and forecasts as required on service, support and sales Present and demonstrate the mine solutions product range and associated benefits for clients Identify, foster and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and industry contacts supporting the attainment of the goals for the business Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the territory/region, industry, and client needs and requirements Liaise with Finance department for management of receivables Compliance with Hexagon's Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures Other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time Knowledge and Experience - Required: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Engineering or equivalent - highly desirable 3 years mining industry experience or similar 3 years technical sales or similar Proven account and/or project management track record is essential Commercial experience dealing with technical products and solutions Knowledge and Experience - Desired: English is a pre-requisite; additional languages (e.g. French) highly desirable Travel: Up to 50% travel within the defined territory. Other regional or international travel may be required occasionally. Additional Information: Hybrid role with office locations available in Toronto, Sudbury, Calgary, Vancouver Salary commensurate with experience and work location. Benefits:
