Position Summary To safely and efficiently receive and transfer donated goods and related items from the designated areas to the Auction floor for sale. Provide additional assistance to leadership as needed. Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) 1. Sort donated goods into the proper container for transfer to the Auction sales floor.
2. Safely, accurately and efficiently unload Auction and clean-up trailers.
3. Use material handling equipment to transport donated goods to the Auction sales floor.
4. Display merchandise in an organized, efficient and safe manner to maximize Auction sales.
5. Adhere to all Auction schedules.
6. Follow established procedures for the safe disposal of waste adhering to all recycling procedures.
7. Maintain good housekeeping of assigned areas inside and outside of the facility.
8. Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
9. May be asked to fill in for other Auction positions when needed. Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance •High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will consider a combination of education and work experience. •1 year experience in a related field required. •No professional certifications are required for this position. •The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties. •The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check. •Auction experience preferred.
