Remote United StatesThe application window is expected to close 12/15/24WHAT YOU’LL DO Our goal is to build great products that simplify and accelerate next-generation computing experiences – the foundational building blocks for the datacenter, artificial intelligence and edge computing. As a Product Marketing Manager for Cisco Compute AI servers, you will create compelling messaging, positioning, and marketing content to support our AI server portfolio and solutions. - Craft compelling audience-specific messaging as well as create and execute content strategies that drive product interest and adoption with relevant target audiences. - Lead the development of core marketing collateral, such as presentations, solution overviews, infographics, blogs, videos, etc. - Collaborate with cross functional teams to distill key functionality and benefits into compelling marketing and sales assets. - Engage with digital marketing teams to identify and integrate messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement, and product adoption focused marketing programs. - Work with sales to ready our general and specialized sales teams on our joint value propositions and messaging. - Plan and support launch of new products including the messaging, content plan, and awareness strategy. - Work with other Cisco teams to plan and execute Cisco and industry events. - Monitoring the competitive landscape to define product positioning that differentiates our products from competitors - Enjoy working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization. - Present to both internal and external audiences. WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH As a member of the Cisco Compute Product Marketing team you will partner across Cisco’s larger marketing organization, primarily with the integrated marketing team, business unit team, partner team, and sales team to execute against our global strategy. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- 8+ years in a product marketing role with a proven track record of product marketing data center hardware and software technologies - Messaging mastery: You have an outstanding ability to explain value and benefits derived from technical concepts to all types of audiences. - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of articulating value propositions to technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience with the technologies and market trends driving the growth of generative AI and the adoption by enterprise IT teams. - Solid understanding of generative AI, including enterprise use cases, vendor ecosystem, MLOps, AIOps, and market trends. - Proven track record of product marketing data center software and hardware technologies and solutions. - A strong mix of technical and business skills - comfortable in engaging across marketing, engineering, and product management teams - Ability to work independently with minimal direction. - You are willing to travel as needed, up to 15% envisioned. - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, or business; MBA preferred. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
