Position Description :
Assists the E-Commerce department by packing and shipping items for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities to customers that have purchased items via www.shopgoodwill.com and other online marketplaces. Utilizes appropriate packing material to protect products from damage during transit. Records accurate shipping weight and dimensions. Ensures shipment contents match order at time of shipment.

Position Description :
Assists the E-Commerce department by packing and shipping items for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities to customers that have purchased items via www.shopgoodwill.com and other online marketplaces. Utilizes appropriate packing material to protect products from damage during transit. Records accurate shipping weight and dimensions. Ensures shipment contents match order at time of shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Examines shipment contents and compares with records such as pack sheets, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
- Determines shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
- Manages own time to complete assignments within established parameters ensuring that our shipping rating maintains an acceptable level.
- Reduces the number of damaged goods through meeting the percentage goal for breakage.
- Safeguards all GCNA property including donated goods. Reports any suspicious behavior, incidents of theft or unauthorized possession/removal of GCNA property.
- Communicates with Manager or Assistant Manager on issues that require solutions beyond the standard protocol.
- Immediately advises supervisor of significant and unexpected problems. Communicates needs with other team members.
- Builds and maintains effective quality working relationships with internal and external customers. Promotes and demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.
- Handles fragile items with care to avoid damage or breakage, maintaining a low percentage of breakage.
- Packs, seals, and labels or affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
- Moves materials throughout Warehouse facility to get them to the loading area.
- Uses standards and procedures to ensure documentation for processes meets standards.
- Maintains work area in a safe, clean, and orderly fashion. Cleans work area at the end of each day, following safety rules and regulations at all times.
- Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.

- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
