DutiesDevelop information system testing strategies, plans, or scenarios.Oversee IT product development using agile methodologies and integrated project teams.Acts as a technical authority to monitor organizational, legislative, administrative, and technological changes that affect information systems 'standards and related processes.Leads a technical product development team that analyzes information systems business requirements and use cases.Serves as full Deputy and "alter ego" to the Director and as such, shares fully in the management of all phases of the work of the organization.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentYou must be a U.S. Citizen or National to apply for this position.You will be subject to a background and suitability investigation.Time-in-Grade restrictions apply. You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal Government to include: 1) Leading agile teams to successfully deliver efficient and effective IT systems; 2) Providing input to formulate contracts documentation and/or budget needs associated with projects; and 3) Identifying areas of improvement within an organization.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
