This role is responsible for shaping, leading and managing strategic initiatives supporting the Global Medical Affairs organization, including but not limited to strategic initiatives such as Link Key People, Congress Hub, ONE MAF Portal, Worldwide Evidence & Strategy Solution, etc.  Responsibilities include acting as the subject matter expert and/or process owner for cross functional and cross TA initiatives including vendor management, IT partnership, business plan development, forecasting and oversight of spending.TASKS / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Lead strategic initiatives within Global Medical Affairs Strategic Operations, in alignment with priority business objectives.Partner with key stakeholders (e.g., Trial Research Execution, Medical Adoption, Global MAF TA, Regional MAF, cross-functional partners, such as Legal, Regulatory, HCC, etc.) to identify new opportunities to apply innovative solutions and to drive adoption and improvements of existing solutions. Collaborate with internal IT and external solution providers to implement and maintain solutions, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements. Provide change management leadership in the adoption of innovative change with a focus on effectiveness and efficiency.Direct and oversee vendors/agencies and contractors who operationally support the various programs in-scopeSupport the steady-state and continuous improvement of systems, websites or other programs already in place including managing ongoing financials.Apply project management best practices in the daily management and execution of the project portfolio. Stay current on strategic & technology trends and innovations within the healthcare industry, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in support of the medical affairs functionQualifications·       Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree / Advanced Degree desirable ·       9-12 years industry related experience including Medical Affairs, business facing Information Technology and Project Management·       Experience in implementing complex processes and technology solutions in a global and matrixed environment ·       Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into efficient process solutions and technology·       Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of parallel-running initiatives and prioritize actions effectively·       Strategic thinker with the ability to create tactical action plans while keeping the big picture in mind·       Must be capable of maintaining values consistent with the Johnson & Johnson Credo.·       Extensive knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies to collect, process, and disseminate knowledge and insights·       Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.·       Excellent communication and presentation skills.·       Ability to manage projects and operate in a matrix environment·       Up to 20% travel Domestic and International ·       At least 3 years of people management experience The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
