Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute long-term supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals. Lead and develop the Production Control and Purchasing teams by setting strategic direction, mentoring staff, and improving processes. Optimize supply chain operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely product delivery. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for delivery performance, cost efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supplier reliability, leveraging data-driven insights to implement improvements. Oversee the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels strategically. Collaborate with operations teams to improve production workflows, reduce lead times, and manage capacity planning while minimizing costs. Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels, prevent stockouts, and ensure operational efficiency through accurate forecasting and replenishment processes. Ensure ERP system integrity by collaborating with stockroom operations to address variances and investigate discrepancies using root cause analysis. Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Evaluate and select new suppliers to strengthen the reliability and cost-efficiency of the supply chain. Leverage supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management tools, data analytics) to drive efficiency, forecast demand, and track supply chain performance. Use data insights to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that enhance operations. Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions while maintaining operational continuity. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance supply chain resilience. Work closely with cross-functional leaders in engineering, quality, and procurement to ensure alignment with company initiatives and project goals. Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in logistics, procurement, and production planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Perform additional tasks assigned by management Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field. 10+ years of supply chain management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in manufacturing. Minimum 3 years managing cross-functional teams with direct reports of 5+ members. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for supply chain and inventory management. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methods. Proven ability to develop teams and implement strategic solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in resolving supply chain issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Skills: Experience in aerospace, aviation, or regulated manufacturing environments. Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. APICS or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
