Senior Solar Project Managers at Centrica Business Solutions are the master of all things project management for comprehensive energy conservation projects. You are responsible for all aspects of project planning, procurement, and execution with a high level of focus on customer service, safety, risk management, quality profitability and cash-flow. This position will actively work with peers and functional leadership to develop and continuously improve processes and procedures aimed at providing value to customers. Additionally, the Senior Solar Project Manager will provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members.
Open to flexible work schedules working fully remote or hybrid but must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire preferred, but also open to individuals in the Bay Area, Sacramento, San Diego, or Ventura County.
Key Responsibilities: Working closely with Business Development team members providing recommendations on how to enhance and improve building and/or site configuration. Engaging and coordinating internal resources, engineers, consultants, construction personnel and subcontractors in preparation and execution of project plans through completion. Collaborating with development teams to create cost budgets and refine scopes of work. Reviewing and approving customer contracts and agreements. Developing, managing, and controlling project plans and schedules while proactively identifying project risk and implementing mitigation strategies. Procuring, managing, and coordinating project resources to ensure effective project delivery. Owning and controlling P&L of assigned projects; monitoring, evaluating, and correcting to ensure that the projects meet financial targets. Owning and managing all project billings and collections. Timely executing of the project close-out process. Identifying, developing, and improving standard work in conjunction with Operations Manager and Head of Project Management. Providing mentoring and coaching, as well as sharing knowledge with our Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
Minimum Requirements: 15+ years of demonstrated success in Project Management or Project Engineering in the construction industry of projects in excess of $5MM. 10+ years' experience managing commercial solar projects. Active Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or Business. Previous experience with Energy Performance Contracting. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Journeyman electrician or electrical contractor's license. NABCEP certification. OSHA 30 certification.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$150,000 + bonus + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
