About Madrigal:
Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct new hire orientation for new employees; work with cross functional partners to ensure smooth onboarding experience
Enter job changes and transactions in HRIS including manager changes, promotions, terminations
Work with payroll and HR Ops to ensure accuracy of business processes and transactions
Monitor the HR mailboxes to answer employee questions and triage inquiries as needed
House employee agreements and sensitive employee documents and ensure they are filed
Partner with Business Partner, Total Rewards, HR Ops and Talent Access teams on special projects as needed such as open enrollment.
Support HR team in department day-to-day operations
Support employee life cycle process at Madrigal, including onboarding and offboarding tasks
Schedule departmental meetings as needed; act as back up for CHRO Executive Assistant
Process departmental invoices through Coupa AP system
Work closely with Internal Communications to ensure HR information on Company intranet page is refreshed and accurate.
Support the distribution of HR related internal communications to employees.
Work closely with HRBP team on creation of PowerPoint slides and managing excel spreadsheets as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Education HS Diploma and 5 years’ experience in HR support role in mid – large size company or BA/BS with 3+ years in an HR support role in mid-large size company
Familiarity with HR centers of excellence
Demonstrated understanding of employee life cycle- onboarding/offboarding
Previous experience working and transacting with an HRIS, preferably Workday
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite- particularly PowerPoint and Excel
Strong team player, within the HR team and across the organization
Some travel may be required for departmental meetings or training.
Role is based in one of our HQ offices- Conshohocken, PA or Waltham, MA and is subject to our hybrid work policy.
Compensation:
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
