The Role\u00A0 As a Principal, Platform Architecture for Digital Assets, you will be responsible for designing and building software for projects spanning multiple engineering groups at Fidelity Digital Assets. This is a hands-on role where you will write code and set technical direction. You will be responsible for turning requirements into service designs and will collaborate with architects across other product areas and business units to drive overall architecture of the Fidelity Digital Assets platform.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring \u00A0 Drive technology strategy and architecture across a range of new and existing capabilities in a business unit.\u00A0\u00A0 Provide leadership to product teams through architecture designs, adoption of emerging standards, and collaboration with key partners.\u00A0\u00A0 Operate at a product area level providing technical leadership and architecture, which support programs and projects for business partners.\u00A0\u00A0 Requires collaboration and interaction opportunities with architects across the firm in forums as well as external to Fidelity (e.g. industry consortia and solution/vendor interactions). Batchelor's degree in computer science 8+ years of software engineering experience\u00A0 Production experience with Java and Springboot. Experience designing and building large scale production distributed systems with focus on customer experience, scale, resilience and performance Proficient in principles of API design and its application using REST. Experience with reactive and functional programming concepts Familiarity with AWS services architecture and solution patterns is preferred Exposure to infrastructure as code, test automation, CI/CD, and containerization\u00A0 Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time\u00A0 Ability to collaborate stake holders to understand business requirement Experience in managing technology vendor relationships
