They are currently looking for an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead their Preconstruction team.
Description
As the Preconstruction Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of projects from the ground up. Your expertise will guide the team through the design and construction document phases, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You'll collaborate with a variety of professionals and lead initiatives that directly influence project success.
The Preconstruction Manager - Premier General Contractor - Triad will be responsible for:- Managing the design and construction document phases to enhance design efficiency and reduce costs through value engineering.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other design consultants in preparing and reviewing contract documents, including interim designs and landscape architecture.
- Communicating effectively with the VP and Project Managers regarding design, pricing models, trends, and potential issues.
- Leading constructability reviews and managing redlines of plans and specifications at critical design milestones.
- Developing Requests for Proposals (RFP) for design-build subcontractors and facilitating coordination meetings.
- Overseeing all preconstruction staff and assisting in recruiting additional personnel as needed.
- Working closely with the project cost estimating team to ensure design efficiency, cost control, and quality.
- Preparing and distributing bid packages, analyzing and comparing bid proposals, and conducting interviews with potential subcontractors and vendors.
- Building strong relationships with local material suppliers, subcontractors, and other preconstruction managers and estimators.

The Preconstruction Manager - should have the following experience:- 5+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
- A BS in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in ground-up commercial projects is essential.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The Preconstruction Manager -:- A highly competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000+.
