The Physical Therapist is a qualified person who directs, supervises, evaluates, and provides Physical Therapy services to patients in the acute, swing, skilled nursing and outpatient settings as prescribed and ordered by the attending physician. Location: We are located 2077 E. Main Street Quincy, CA 95971 and 127 Crescent St C, Greenville, CA 95947. You may be asked to travel between both physical therapy offices. Compensation: Compensation Philosophy: We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience Compensation Range: $53.63 - $76.46 / hour Sign on Bonus: $10,000.00 Housing Stipend: We provide three months of paid housing or $1,200.00 / month housing stipend for the first three months of employment Job Status / Shift Information: Full-time Weekdays Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Must hold current California Physical Therapy License. Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA. Passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE). Compliant with state regulatory requirements. Experience: One (1) year in acute, swingbed/skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Compassionate and attentive to detail. Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices. Ability to solve problems independently or know when to rely on others. Excellent analytical and logical thinking. Ability to manage patients with different personalities and diagnosis. Ability to write timely and accurate reports and correspondence at a professional level within the standards of the department. Ability to use a computer and software proficiently. Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques. Timely and punctual in all aspects, responsibilities. Ability to multi-task responsibilities Must meet physical requirements as stated on job description addendum Responsibilities: Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans by applying diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests. Treats injuries, manage chronic conditions, prevent future problems, improve physical function and educate patients to maximize and/or maintain their maximum level of independence. Records and reports to the physician the patient's reaction to treatment and/or any changes in the patient's condition. Educates patients and their families in the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices (canes, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.) Attends rehabilitation center staff meetings and in-service presentations.
