At Catapult, we are supporting one of our members, a leading organization in the Construction Industry, in their search for a
Project Administrative Assistant
. Ideal candidates are those who have worked for a construction company, handling subcontracts, sub payments, purchase orders, and owner billings. This position is located onsite in Charlotte, NC. Daily Responsibilities:
Project Assistance:
Set up projects per company policies
Support project teams across multiple projects, multi-tasking between 3-10 projects with varying scopes of work
Prepare billing documents and collect subcontracts/purchase orders
Administer contracts and process vendor invoices
Maintain job records and facilitate project closeout
Ensure compliance and ethics in documentation
Backup/As-Needed
Responsibilities:
Division Assistance:
Support EEO compliance on federally funded projects
Manage division contract approvals and provide administrative backup
Assist with office tasks like mail management and scheduling
Office Assistance:
Manage office supplies and deliveries
Answer phones and greet visitors
Finalize and deliver bids/proposals
Support hiring needs and office appearance
Assist with travel and community service projects
Aid project teams with daily tasks
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:
2 years of project/support experience in the construction industry; or, an Associate's Degree with 1 year of experience
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, multi-line switchboards, and office equipment
Valid driver's license for company business
