Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Systems Architect to support us in the design and implementation of our networks and servers for a DOD customer. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of an enterprise cloud solution that will revolutionize the way our joint services share mission critical data with one another.
They will:
Lead systems engineering from requirements definition through design and implementation.
Conduct site surveys and support installation/configuration of physical systems.
Develop technical reviews and documentation, including requirements, interfaces, and architecture.
Collaborate with teams to integrate hardware, cloud, software, and network solutions.
Recommend and evaluate new technologies to enhance system capabilities.
Maintain expertise in hardware and software interconnection (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems in innovative ways.
Hourly: 71-97/hr
Salary: 160,000-185,000

Skills and Requirements
-Bachelors Degree and 14+ years of experience
-Active Secret Clearance
-Proven experience leading systems engineering projects, including requirements definition, design, and implementation.
-Strong background in hardware engineering, network configuration, and systems integration.
-Hands-on experience with network technologies (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and physical hardware installations.
-Familiarity with cloud configurations, software architecture, and system security best practices.
-Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for system automation.
-Proficiency at the administrator level with Windows or Linux servers null
