Job Description
These resources will be joining a new team under File Storage for Automation and Testing. Currently there are tons of outages being caused by not being properly tested. We are looking for resources that have different automation and testing skills. Ideal candidates have experience with both testing and automation as well as file storage experience with NetApp, Dell storage, Veritas NetBackup, PURE storage, and/or CommVault.
Day to day responsibilities:
Building the test platform that is going to evaluate storage infrastructure automation.
Test cases they write will ensure smooth automation
Test the health checks for pre/post automation
Everything is on-premise - nothing in the cloud
Work with storage engineer and automation engineer bringing testing experience to the table Already have a storage Need a testing SME to help uplift all the issues and outages
Everything is manual testing, need their testing to be automated
Embedding tools like selenium or cucumber and automate test cases they have

8-10+ years of experience as an SDET/QA Test Engineer
Python They will have to leverage testing tools, could be python or ansible combo
Ansible
Well-versed with testing Selenium or Cucumber
GitHub
APIs
Jenkins CICD pipelines Block file backup and archive product experience
Object storage experience
File storage experience
Storage technologies experience - NetApp, Dell storage, Veritas NetBackup, PURE storage, CommVault null
