Software Engineer, SME This position requires an active TS/SCI with Adjudicated Polygraph clearance. As a Software Engineer, you will work on a technical development program supporting a specific Agency's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM/ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, and Digital Policy Management. You will work with a large team of developers, software engineers, and data engineer. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Software Engineer, SME : $147,000 to $218,000. Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Software Engineer, SME Responsibilities Include: Develop CloudFormation scripts to generate network and application infrastructure in a repeatable fashion. Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances. Experience with Python. Develop Java and Python applications that leverage Neo4j and Elasticsearch Ability to Implement NodeJS PM2 for application monitoring and resiliency. Utilized SAFe agile techniques to manage workload. Leverage Amazon Web Services Experience creating RESTful API All team members will be required to participate in a 24/7 on call rotation for 1 week every 8 weeks. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Software Engineer, SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: An active TS/SCI with an adjudicated Polygraph (Fully Cleared) Sixteen (16) years of experience in software engineering/development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) Bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience in a related field in lieu of a degree Experience with Java, Springboot, Python and the Cloud / Amazon Web Services Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information: Criterion is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
