We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Google Cloud DevOps Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. They will play a key role in optimizing cloud operations, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. What You'll Do Design and implement scalable and secure Google Cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Deployment Manager. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build and Jenkins. Containerize applications and deploy them to GKE, Cloud Run, or App Engine. Implement security best practices using IAM roles and hierarchy management. Provision and manage data components such as Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring & Logging. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud technologies and best practices. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. What You'll Bring At least 5 years of experience with Google Cloud in related spaces. Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containerization, and security. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services like GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Cloud Monitoring & Logging. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Senior-level consulting skills, including client management and project leadership. Preferred Qualifications: Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification. Compensation and Benefits Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted base salary range for a Senior Consultant for this position is $110,000 to $203,000 and the targeted base salary for a Principal for this position is $122,000 to $225,000. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
