Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Application & Software QA Tester to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust testing process to ensure the quality of our web applications and software products. You will work closely with our development team to test application changes, identify bugs, and create automated testing strategies. This is a critical role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our products. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 3 years of experience in software testing, QA processes, and methodologies for web applications. Proven experience in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts. Experience with manual testing, including creating detailed test cases and executing them. Experience with regression testing, performance testing, and end-to-end testing. Skills and Tools: Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, etc.) and common web application architectures. Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with continuous integration tools is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and Implement Testing Processes: Design, document, and execute a comprehensive testing process for all web applications and software products, including functional, regression, and performance testing. Manual Testing of Application Changes: Perform hands-on manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and software updates, ensuring that all changes meet the highest quality standards. Automated Testing Strategy: Build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, with a focus on reducing manual testing efforts and increasing test coverage. Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with developers to understand technical implementations, participate in code reviews, and provide feedback on potential issues and improvement areas. Identify and Report Bugs: Document and communicate defects, track issues through resolution, and work with the team to prioritize and resolve bugs efficiently. Test Planning and Test Case Design: Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing processes. Regression Testing: Conduct regression tests before software releases to ensure stability across application features. Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine and improve testing methodologies and practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Quality Metrics Reporting: Track and report key metrics related to testing progress, coverage, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders. In addition, this role is responsible for improvement project participation, planning, communicating and implementing solutions where possible. PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT Fait will provide resources and support, relevant to the position, for education and training as needed. It is the Associate's responsibility to seek approval, schedule and participate in education and/or training that will prepare him/her for present and future needs. A post training recap may be required.
