We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Leaning Engineer to join our team at JANUS Research Group supporting the US Army's Future Concept Center, Architecture Integration Management Division (AIMD) at Fort Eustis in Newport News, VA. Job Description Work with the US Army's Future Concept Center, Architecture Integration Management Division (AIMD) in the AI/ML domain. Learn to develop solutions for the next generation intelligence and data platform requirements across the unbounded AI/ML deep space Participate in innovative development efforts, AI/ML brainstorming and schema developments, and provide vignette and complex system of systems solutions in conjunction with a dynamic team of multi-domain engineers, technical experts, and operational personnel. Provide technical support services to the AI/ML Team Experience with: Statistical analysis and programming languages to perform analysis such as Python, Linux and R Core Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, sklearn, Data visualization using Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn Machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, TFX, PyTorch Git and GitHub Model development, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and updating to include feature engineering, model selection, tuning, and performance evaluation. Data collection, pre-processing, integration, and transformation. Knowledge of: DevSecOps principles and practices Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) framework, practices and principles Continuous Integration/Continuous Development Data engineering, data pipelines to include database management concepts, storage, query, and retrieval methods Data, Code and Model repos Code, Data and Model Version Control Qualifications: Bachelor's (minimum) degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline Exceptional Software development skills Desire to support machine learning projects Research and knowledge of modern AI capabilities in machine learning Interest in designing and developing leading analytics or software development projects Excellent communications skills (written and oral) Possession of, or preparedness to pursue DoDI 8570.01-M IASAE Certifications Ability to acquire and maintain DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance Target salary range: $105,000 - $120,000 . The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
