Python Developer

Senior Python Data Engineers: Location : 100% Remote - (they work 9a-5p EST) Pay Rate :60 Duration : 12 months Start : ASAP LinkedIn : MUST We need someone who can understand the current API services that are in use, and then write new services to move the logs and different services that are flowing to ELK. We need to 2 additional data focused developers who are strong technically to help dig into this new platform, help troubleshoot and fix things. Additionally, we will have these developers assist with ELK Pipeline maintenance, developing indexes, creating batch jobs and potential jumping into NodeRED work. The skills I am looking for can be summarized below: Domain Expertise Python Shellscripting Docker/Virtual Machines Data Analytics - Pandas/Numpy/R RestAPI's - Django/Fastapi/Flask Must Haves: 8 years of Data Focused Development Work Hands on Python Development Experience Hands on experience with Django and/or Flask Frameworks Experience with Pandas/Numpy/R for Data Analatics works Hands on experience with Data Pipeline Development and scaling Experience with Pipeline maintenance (Ideally ELK pipeline maintenance) Understands how to Create Indexes Experience creating batch jobs Data Analytics Background with the ability to understand the logic behind the data Development/programming ability to write services and move data Experience writing queries and developing dashboards with specific KPI's Excellent communication skills and the interest to work as part of an innovation team.
