Type Regular Full-Time Overview NIWC Atlantic Software Services requires ISHPI to provide emerging Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DON) information technology, to design, develop, engineer, and maintain systems that will improve customer organizational efficiency. ISHPI provides support in the areas of Administrative Services, Applications Integration Management, Corporate Strategy Planning and Execution, Information Assurance (IA), Information Resource Management, and Information Technology (IT) Operations. Further task includes new standards engineering, prototype installation, application development, data interoperability, system design, system management and maintenance, data collection, analysis, and other management and implementation efforts in support of data translation, data mediation, and data mapping. Responsibilities Perform part-time Competency Supervisory duties for the Operational Engineering Competency at Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic (formerly SPAWAR). With a strong focus on technical expertise, effective management, and exemplary leadership skills. May oversee a diverse workforce of 25 government civilian engineers, scientists, and IT Specialists, driving major acquisition efforts in areas such as Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), Data Center and Cloud Hosting (DC2HS), Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education (MPT&E) Systems, Defense Health Information Technology, and Command Software Services. Qualifications Education: BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related discipline. In lieu of degree, a minimum of 12 years of related experience is necessary. Experience: Five (5) years of experience in Agile Methodologies, Software Engineering, Systems and System-of-Systems Engineering, Project Management, Personnel Management, Knowledge Management, Business Process Automation, Cloud Technologies, and Resource Management. SME in Systems and Software Engineering, Business Process Automation, Information Sharing, Knowledge Management, and Decision Support Solutions. Proven technical leadership and management of diverse teams, driving major acquisition efforts in Enterprise Business Systems, Data Center and Cloud Hosting, and Defense Health Information Technology. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, program planning, and strategic development, with a focus on Agile methodologies and continuous improvement. Experienced Power Platform SME: Led the development of multiple PowerApps and Power Automate flows to automate business processes, mentor team members, and improve efficiency. Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams and Project Management methodologies wauch as Waterfall, Spiral and Agile. Strong collaboration and communication skills, fostering effective team building, information exchange, and problem-solving. Deep understanding of Navy and Joint C5ISR/IT systems, technologies, and support teams. Certifications: PMP/PMI, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Professional Scrum Product Owner Security Clearance: Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.
