BI Developer: Cube

Job ID: 24-05997 Pay rate range - $45/hr. to $48/hr. on W2 NJ Preferred / US Remote possible Job Function/Description: • Works with BI Analysts to understand customer needs. • Collects, analyzes, and shares data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience, and business results. • Utilizes database and web application technologies to design, develop, and evaluate innovative business intelligence tools and automated reports. • Perform data conversions, imports, and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems • Merge BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications • Enhance the performance of business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and indexes • Document new and existing models, solutions, and implementations • Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software • Participate in the workstream planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of Microsoft BI solutions. Also, in the project management estimation process • Analyze business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions • Conduct research, make recommendations on BI products & services, and maintain interface with vendors • Maintain the quality of data and provide input to the development of data/information quality metrics. • Develop the SSAS Tabular model cube for the end user's expense reporting. • Develop a partition-based SSAS Tabular cube model for incremental data processing and partial data processing • Make project deliverable documents for Database design and ETL process. Requirements & Qualifications: Technical Skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or related field • 6years of technical expertise (MSSQL) • At least, for 6 years of Database designing experience for BI system data mart. • At least, for 6 years of SSAS Tabular model cube development experience. • At least, for 4 years of SSIS ETL development experience. • Hands-on experience supporting Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing environments • Excellent written and verbal communication along with strong analytical, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Requirement • Related technical (Microsoft SSIS Engineer): 4 years (Required) • Related technical (Microsoft SSAS Engineer): 6 years (Required) o Design and develop Tabular models. (Required Skill) o Proficient in MDX & DAX (Required Skill) • Database administration: 6 years (Required). Additional Bilingual (Korean & English) Preferred but not required Handle Dashboards and other BI solutions using Tableau & Power BI, but not required
