Description In consultation with the President, establish and implement development strategy for diversifying revenue streams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise all fundraising initiatives, to include individual, major, and corporate gifts as well as foundation grants. Fosters existing donor relationships, builds strategic partnerships, and expands the donor network across individual, corporate, and philanthropic sectors as well as foundation grants. Collaborates with the Director of Communication to produce appropriate fundraising materials including, but not limited to, case statements, brochures, solicitation letters, gift proposals, appreciation letters, donor reports, and campaign status reports. Develops status and forecasting reports for various stakeholders. Provides guidance and support to the Development Committee of the Board of Directors. Leverages existing programming to increase donor engagement and funding. Works cross-functionally throughout the organization to identify opportunities for financial support of Georgia Humanities. Responsible for development and management of the CRM system. Travels to meet with donors, corporate stakeholders, and partners as needed. May supervise staff. May manage a budget. Establishes, documents, and manages development policies and procedures, including pledge processing and acknowledgement, reporting, and tracking. Manages the CRM and ensures the integrity of data. Performs other related duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and three to five years of experience in fundraising or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.
