Product Owner - Data Platforms Location: Remote As a Product Owner, Data Platforms , you will be the voice of the business to the data engineering team while working with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will play a critical role in driving requirements for data products, prioritizing initiatives, setting stakeholder expectations, and communicating progress. Here, you will make an impact by: Being part of the scrum team that delivers data products Writing Features and Epics that communicate the business needs and provide enough detail to enable story development. Collaborating with various departments to understand business needs and impacts and then translating that information into IT priorities. Working with IT to understand team velocity and resource needs. Assist with the business case for new resources. Driving (and creating) business documentation that can be used to educate business users. Communicating progress of key initiatives to all levels of the organization. Partnering with the scrum master to ensure appropriate processes are in place for bug management, sprint planning, and story grooming. Gaining an in-depth knowledge of the data platforms, data, and business needs. Skills: 5 years of experience with the following: Proficiency in driving requirements for data platforms as an analyst or product owner. Effective communication skills to communicate with both business and technical audiences. In-depth knowledge of the agile process and ceremonies. Understanding of master data management (MDM) and the semantic requirements of visualization tools. Project management software experience, such as Jira. Previous experience with data product ownership in the healthcare/durable medical equipment industry preferred. SQL experience preferred. Experience in program increment (PI) planning preferred. Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred but relevant experience is also accepted DICE tkettwickc4techservices.com
