Cyber Defense Trainer

Job Summary: ITS, LLC is seeking a Cyber Defense Trainer to join our Colorado Springs, Colorado team. As a cyber defense trainer, you will be responsible for the research, analysis, design, development, and customizing of instructional materials to potentially support WBT (Web-Based Training)/CBT (Computer-Based Training)/ILT (Instructor-Led Training). Key Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Consult with the client to develop learning objectives and a training approach. Research, analyze, design, develop, and customize instructional materials to potentially support WBT (Web-Based Training)/CBT (Computer-Based Training)/ILT (Instructor-Led Training). Apply various instructional strategies, models, and theories to develop learning content to enhance learning transfer and greater on-the-job performanc Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure impactful, relevant course content and a supporting training range. Present/instruct developed courseware. Preferred Qualifications: Three years of cyber security experience with emphasis on cybersecurity course training development Three years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS (Elastic Stack, Splunk, HBSS, or equivalent) Strong background /familiarity with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis, and MITRE ATT&CK framework Experience working on a cybersecurity team, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Protection Team (CPT), or Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) IAT Level III certification required Education/Experience: HS Diploma Bachelor s degree preferred 3 years relevant experience Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI Salary Note: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is based on education, experience, and responsibilities.
