Senior Software Engineer

Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, WA: Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Build next-gen scalable monitoring and alerting systems and tools. Improve auto-remediation in telemetry infrastructure. Identify and contribute to solutions for reducing services outages, reducing alert noise, improving monitoring, and helping the services reach Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Define best practices around making systems and services measurable while working with the Application Engineering teams to get the best practices applied. Share on-call rotation to assess complex problems in real-time across any of our high traffic software systems. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field. A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
