What It's Like: As an intern on the Endpoint Cyber Tools team, you'll dive into the world of cybersecurity by helping to set up and configure cutting-edge endpoint security solutions. What You'll Do: You'll monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and conduct vulnerability assessments to ensure our devices stay secure. Collaborating with the team, you'll also contribute to developing security policies and evaluate new tools that enhance our protection efforts. Plus, you'll get hands-on experience documenting findings and creating reports that highlight trends and improvements. It's a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills while making a real impact Key Responsibilities: Help set up and configure next-gen endpoint security tools that keep our digital world safe. Keep an eye on endpoint security alerts and jump in when issues pop up. Dive into vulnerability assessments and suggest fixes to keep our devices locked down. Work with the team to create and test killer security policies for our endpoints. Collaborate on boosting our detection and response game-let's level up together Check out and evaluate cool new endpoint security tech and tools. Document your findings and whip up reports on what's happening with endpoint security. Keep our security docs and training materials fresh and user-friendly. What It Takes: Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit). Basic understanding of network security principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Minimum Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
