About the Opportunity DMI, LLC is seeking an experienced Product Owner to support the continued development of our SaaS Telecom Expense Management platform. The Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders, to define the product vision, gather and prioritize requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of features. You will be responsible for ensuring that the platform delivers value to our customers and aligns with the company’s strategic objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the SaaS platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the development team works on features that provide the most value to customers and stakeholders. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather detailed product requirements and translate them into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. Sprint Planning and Execution: Work closely with the Scrum Master and development teams to plan sprints, ensuring that user stories are well-defined and ready for development. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, timelines, and any changes in priorities. Feature Prioritization: Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize features based on customer feedback, business value, technical feasibility, and resource availability. Customer Feedback Loop: Continuously gather feedback from customers and end-users to identify areas for improvement and enhancement of the platform. Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions about product features, optimizations, and future enhancements. Go-to-Market Support: Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and the adoption of new features. Quality Assurance: Ensure that delivered features meet the acceptance criteria and maintain a high standard of quality, functionality, and user experience. Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally with experience in managing SaaS platforms. Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Telecom Expense Management Experience: Experience working with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) platforms, or a deep understanding of the telecom industry is highly desirable. Agile Development: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience in leading Agile development teams. Technical Understanding: Familiarity with Python and back-end development processes is preferred, enabling you to communicate effectively with the development team. Backlog Management Tools: Proficiency with backlog management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms. Data-Driven Approach: Ability to leverage analytics and KPIs to inform product decisions and measure the success of features post-launch. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and deliver features on time. SaaS Platform Experience: Prior experience in building or managing SaaS platforms, particularly in a B2B environment. Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Agile Product Manager is a plus. Telecom Industry Knowledge: Experience in telecom billing, expense management, or IT asset management is highly preferred. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, including attending virtual meetings and managing product development activities. Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and monitor for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively with team members through digital collaboration tools (e.g., video calls, emails, chat platforms).
