Mujin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Integration Engineer who can provide integration support for robotic system solutions. As a Mechanical Integration Engineer at Mujin, you will collaborate with a world-class team of doers and dive into challenging technical problems to deliver our solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the integration of control systems within our organization, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency. This role requires a combination of engineering knowledge, problem solving, curiosity, innovation, and communication. You will play a critical role in deployment and integration for robotic application in warehouse and logistics, providing remote and onsite support. Responsibilities: Lead and support installation and configuration of robotic projects and other material handling equipment at customer sites Leverage Mujin's worldclass controller platform to build-out and scale production-ready digital twins for robot and AGV systems Leverage the Mujin controller to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and work with a cross-functional software team to deliver rapid, over-the-air updates to systems entering production Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the compatibility of system designs and ensure that our products meet the customer requirements Provide quality assurance, installation inspection, and commissioning reports that support satisfaction of all key system checks Execute system test plans and maintain technical documentation related to system integration Install, configure, and troubleshoot Robot, AGV, and material handling systems to meet required Key Performance Index (KPI) Function as part of an interdisciplinary technical team that proves and validates our solutions to drive successful delivery to our customers ensuring their satisfaction Ensure all systems adhere to industry standards, safety regulations as well as customer requirements Execute / support the following testing of products/systems: Factory integration & acceptance testing, System integration & acceptance testing, System throughput and performance testing, High volume testing (customer specific), Customer vendor qualification (as needed) Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure correct install and commissioning of product Support punchlist items as needed on site (quality issues, technical issues during install - ensuring product works correctly) Perform system training as required to ensure successful product deliver to our rapidly growing customer base Requirements: Bachelor's degree in robotics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field 3 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in a material handling and logistic automation integration You have prior knowledge of CAD software - SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical issues Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment where innovation and continuous improvement are key Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the year, as required by project demands An understanding and ability to apply standard drafting practices and mechanical/industry standards (e.g. ANSI, OSHA) Must be able to work independently and tackle complex problems in remote locations with minimal assistance Preferred: Hands-on experience with six and seven-axis robot arm task creation for material handling equipment's 3 years of experience as Mechanical Engineer for integrating and deploying robotic solutions Proven track record of contributing to complex mechanical integration projects Work experience in design, research, and/or development in a manufacturing related company Familiar with industrial safety best practices regarding robotic systems Experience with compressed air systems and air capacity sizing Since our expansion to North America, we have encountered substantial demand for our groundbreaking robotics technology.
