Description & Requirements ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Database Administrator II in Ft. Meade, MD . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in designing and generating SQL tables, unstructured data systems, and data transmission interfaces to the interconnecting system for which the prototype is designed to operate. Responsible for security, user access, backups, instance tuning and security controls to protect the data management system(s). Collaborate closely with software development teams. The Database Administrator II will receive guidance from the Database Administrator III. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order 2 years of experience in position-relevant tasks. Preferred qualifications: Vendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements (e.g., Oracle and Mongo). Security clearance requirement: Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be able and willing to obtain a polygraph. Physical requirements: Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer cyber1234 For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
