Position Overview: The Integrations Specialist - HCM / Workday plays a crucial role within their Human Resources (HR) team, focusing on data integration across multiple systems to optimize business functions. This individual will be responsible for supporting HR-related business requirements within Workday and ensuring seamless integrations with external vendors and platforms. Key duties include report generation, ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and adjustments to both new and existing integrations, enabling smooth communication between systems like HCM, ERP, and ADP. Collaboration across various teams is essential to implement, refine, and sustain these solutions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with key teams (HR, Payroll, Accounting) to develop and maintain technology solutions that enhance HR processes and streamline the use of HR technologies. Manage, configure, and troubleshoot integrations, ensuring robust system compliance, data security, and alignment with licensing requirements. Serve as the primary technical resource for assigned projects, handling solution design, technical documentation, implementation, and production support. Proactively monitor and resolve system integration issues, seeking continuous improvement to enhance system performance and user experience. Develop, document, and uphold procedures and policies related to integration workflows, with responsibilities extending to testing, rollout, and change management processes. Act as a liaison with external vendors to coordinate on integration projects, managing incidents, enhancements, and maintenance activities. Track, plan, and execute system upgrades, addressing risks and coordinating with stakeholders for seamless transitions. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve escalated technical issues, utilizing root cause analysis and problem management techniques. Create custom reports, design business processes, and develop custom configurations as needed to meet HR's strategic goals. Qualifications: Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred. Workday HCM Core Certification or relevant Workday module certifications with demonstrated experience in Workday integrations is required. At least five (5) years of experience in HR business systems or applications management, with a strong focus on integration solutions. Minimum of four (4) years' experience in solution design, requirements gathering for HCM, business process frameworks, configurable security, and proficiency with BIRT, XML/XSLT/JSON. Expertise in Workday integration tools, including EIB, Workday Studio (both inbound and outbound), Cloud Connect, PECI, CCW, and CCB. Experience in Workday Prism, Core Modules, and extending functionalities with Workday Extend; familiarity with middleware and payroll integration tools. Advanced skills in integration technologies and hands-on experience with complex implementation projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage large-scale integrations and project budgets. Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical teams and senior management.
