Full Stack Developer IV

Project Description: The team works primarily on mobile application features that are unique to the app experience and the backend systems that drive those features. Responsibilities: We are seeking a passionate full stack engineer who is comfortable designing, building, testing, releasing, and maintaining mobile application features and the backend systems to support them Contribute to the architecture and development of mobile application and web features to support key mobile application strategy initiatives Use modern tools and technologies consistent with our technology stack: native mobile, React Native, Java, AWS Interact directly with peer developers, UX, Product Management, Design, QA and other engineering groups as part of a cohesive team Use your creative and innovation-driven mindset to articulate engineering design strategies related to scale, performance, security, and usability. Collaborate with the team to develop products that demonstrate an eye for amazing design, strong product focus, and exceptional user experience Perform other duties as assigned Skills: 10 years of Full Stack Experience Mobile development experience, in iOS, Android, or React Native JavaScript experience, ideally in the React family Experience with Java/Spring/Maven and great understanding of object-oriented design Solid technical communication skills with business partners and other engineer teams Demonstrated experience taking initiative and practicing strong ownership Experience using version control systems such as Git Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira or ClearQuest Experience in understanding different integration patterns and their usage during testing Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, ideally AWS Pair Programming: 10-40% of their time Skills Overview: 10 years development experience Excellent interpersonal skills - must be comfortable in small and large groups and interacting with product teams, designers, other engineers, and management Full stack development experience, across the candidate's career (with the understanding that not every role may be full stack, and even most fullstack candidates are slated towards frontend or backend. Looking for candidates that across their career, have experience in both the frontend and backend, with mobile experience) Mobile development: React Native, Android, and/or iOS JavaScript experience, ideally in the React family Java/Spring/Maven Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally AWS System design, design patterns, and architecture knowledge Takes ownership and initiative, comfortable stepping outside a job description or working with ambiguity Preferred/Nice to Have Skills: Can articulate engineering design strategies related to scale, performance, security, and usability Source control systems, including Git & GitHub gile software development Large enterprise and/or retail experience
