Job Summary

The Workday Integration Analyst is the subject matter expert for the development of both internal and external integrations and reporting for the Workday platform, including Human Capital Management, Financial Management, and Supply Chain Management. This role will also be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and advising on security within the Workday application. This role works with internal customers to determine operational workflow, automation, and integration requirements which may be met by leveraging Workday. This role may provide support for other Workday system analysts in system maintenance, development of new enhancements, code reviews, organizational change management, and project management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: During implementation this role collaborates with the implementation team, who will perform the configuration including customer fields, workflows, business processes, and security profiles; through this partnership, this role will build the technical capability necessary to perform primary configuration and support after "go live" After Workday go-live, this becomes the primary role responsible for Workday configuration, including custom fields, workflows, business processes, and security profiles After Workday go-live, this becomes the primary role responsible for configuring, maintaining, and advising on security within the Workday application, including domain security policies, roles, and role assignments. Responsible for creating complex reports which may include Advance, BIRT, Matrix, Composite and Dashboards with different calculated field functionalities and re-engineering with Workday environment; escalation point for HCM and Finance Business Analysts if expertise is needed to fulfill a reporting or analytics request Responsible for working with Workday Business Analysts and/or SMEs on integration analysis, development, testing, debugging and fixing integrations between Workday and both internal applications and external third party/vendor systems Serves as liaison between business stakeholders and software vendors and consultants Creates custom integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Core Connector, Document Transformations, Web Services and Rest APIs Role is the primary role responsible forWorkday incident management for technical issues and accountable for actions necessary for resolution to meet IT Service Level Agreements, and ensuring root cause is identified Assists business analysts in triage and diagnosis of functional issues Responsible for providing necessary technical training to ensure back up resources capable to provide system support Performs and documents unit testing on all development and changes to the Workday platform In collaboration with Business Analyst, write and execute system test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of Workday applications and integrations Supports systems integration testing and user acceptance testing by providing insight to testing teams to ensure the appropriate depth of test coverage Creates and maintains comprehensive system documentation, including development standards and Application Programming Interface and Secure File Transfer Protocol integrations Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system administrators, and end-users, to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and delivers solutions that meet business needs effectively Acts as a technical lead for projects, overseeing them from inception to completion with a focus on efficient and timely implementation Role is the primary role responsible for Workday continuous improvement and system enhancements Identifies opportunities to optimize the performance of Workday applications and integrations Proactively promotes Workday capabilities as a solution to business needs Ensures the security and compliance of Workday applications and integrations by following best practices for data protection, access control (other systems analysts on team will function as backup for this work) Configures security groups, roles, business processes, domain security, permissions and audit logging (other systems analysts on team will function as backup for this work) Stays current with industry trends, Workday updates, and system advancements, offering recommendations for continuous improvement Proactively promotes Workday capabilities as a solution to business needs Actively participates in Workday community through engagement in technology/end user support groups, Workday provided resources, and may be asked to attend Workday sponsored conferences Participates in team coverage, providing back up at times for other IT Workday roles, but also engaging with others to ensure they are available and capable of providing back up as needed for own role

Job Requirements

Required: In depth knowledge of Workday Enterprise Resources System Experience related to implementation and management of enterprise ERP applications Deep understanding of 3rd party integration development, Workday security features and controls, and proven ability to work on a variety of projects Competence in learning new system tools and functionality Knowledge of cloud-based technology and object-oriented data models Knowledge of technical design, technical unit and integration testing, and technical requirements Critical analysis, technical and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative, fast-paced environment Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information System (CIS), or Management Information System (MIS) or related field Preferred:

Active Workday certification

Physical Demands:

This is a full-time position. Occasional travel is a requirement of the position and will vary in length depending on purpose of the trip. Trips are generally planned; however, there may be times when travel is required at the last minute. It is expected that this role will attend and actively participate in the yearly Workday user conference.
