Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's needs. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Manage and mentor a team of purchasing agents and buyers. Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships. Skills and Competencies:

Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong leadership and team management skills. About Aston Carter:
