ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager reports to the Chief Impact Officer and is responsible for the execution of a wide variety of projects that aim to advance Gary's mission. This individual will be a key member of the Philanthropy team responsible for creating and managing project plans for high-priority projects, partnering with internal and external partners to drive execution of those project plans, and creating and implementing team-level customer relationship management and document management systems. This individual will also support the Chief Impact Officer with data collection, monitoring, and analysis of our impact metrics.

This role does not have direct reporting managerial responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Project Management & Execution (60%)

Create and execute detailed project plans, defining scope, setting timelines, and assigning resources for key bodies of the team's work, including but not limited to: Annual and trimester strategic priorities, monitoring, and reporting (including our Objectives and Key Results system) Special time-bound projects Requests for proposals Plans and timelines for grant approvals Lead and motivate the project team(s), assigning and taking on tasks, managing workloads, and ensuring collaboration to achieve project objectives. Negotiate project timelines and gather input from stakeholders to design project plans. Identify potential risks to projects, assessing their impact, and developing mitigation strategies to prevent or minimize disruptions. Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and any issues are addressed promptly. Prepare high-quality project briefs and support the creation of visuals and powerpoints for internal and external uses. Regularly assess and refine project metrics to ensure they align with project goals and stakeholder expectations. Implement continuous improvement practices (including post-project evaluations) to assess project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and inform future project performance. Chief Impact Officer & Team Support (25%)

Provide the Chief Impact Officer with light administrative support, including expense reporting and scheduling. Support the Chief Impact Officer with data collection, monitoring, and analysis of the organization's impact metrics. (Note - this task may evolve and expand as we refine our metric system and based on the individual's skills with data.) Support the Philanthropy team with scheduling, planning, and execution of team meetings/retreats, stakeholder/partner gatherings, and related convenings that advance team goals and objectives. Summarize and take responsibility for key action items from internal and external team meetings, distribute information to team members and manage follow-up. Customer & Document Management (15%)

Create and manage the Philanthropy team's shared document management system. Support management of grants and contracts in our Salesforce system, working with our Salesforce consultant and in partnership with grant managers. Create and maintain stakeholder and partner lists leveraging our Affinity relationship intelligence system. Requirements

5+ years of progressive responsibility in project management roles, demonstrating both the planning and execution skills Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred Proficient with project management software, Salesforce or comparable CRM, MS Office, Google and presentation applications. Experience facilitating complex, cross-functional projects to successful results with a variety of stakeholders - private business, public agencies, nonprofits, and philanthropic partners Experience developing and tracking project metrics

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role operates in a typical business environment working in our office location located in downtown Denver at Union Station. This role routinely uses a computer and its voice or video call capabilities. This role requires sitting and staring at a computer and talking via voice and video calls.
