We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Strategic Sourcing Manager - Electrical
to lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for electrical components, systems, and services. This role will ensure optimal cost, quality, and supply continuity while driving innovation and sustainability in the supply chain. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, operations, and suppliers to deliver value-added solutions aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Job Description
Develop Sourcing Strategies:
Create and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for electrical categories (e.g., wiring, panels, motors, circuit components, and power systems). Analyze market trends, supplier landscapes, and cost drivers to inform strategic decisions.
Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to build a robust supply base that meets quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and innovation. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
Cost Management:
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and supply reliability. Identify opportunities for cost reduction through value engineering, alternative sourcing, and supplier consolidation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with engineering and product development teams to align sourcing strategies with product specifications and innovation goals. Support operations and procurement teams in resolving supplier performance issues and ensuring timely delivery.
Risk Mitigation:
Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential supply disruptions, regulatory changes, and quality concerns.
Data and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance. Report progress and insights to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

The Successful Applicant
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of sourcing experience, with a focus on electrical categories. Proven track record of cost reduction, supplier development, and contract negotiation.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in market analysis and cost modeling. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Proficient in ERP systems, procurement tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications:
CPSM, CSCP, or similar supply chain certifications are desirable.
What's on Offer
Target compensation for the Strategic Sourcing Manager - Electrical is $100,000 - $120,000 base salary. Compensations is commensurate with candidate experience.
